Sign Ordinances
 
Real estate, lease and rental signs cannot be more than 15 square feet for residentially zoned property and 32 square feet for non-residentially zoned property. One sign per street frontage. Open House signs and temporarily placed signs no larger than 5 square feet that state that a particular home will be open for public inspection for a limited number of hours on a specific day may be placed in the Right-of-way. These Open House signs may be placed in the city boulevard area on the day of the open house and only during the open house.

Septic System Regulations
 
City follows Dakota County regulations. Within the city limits, city sewer and water are required. Septic systems are permitted subject to City Council review and approval. The City Building Official handles all septic system permits.
